We are saddened to share with you the news of the passing of Lance Rapp. Lance was an IBMer for more than a quarter century with many friends among his former colleagues. Lance had a long battle with frontal lobe dementia and died peacefully in his sleep in the early hours of last Sunday 6 September.
A service will be held next Thursday 17th September at 2:00 pm in the Lotus Pavilion, Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium, Plassey Rd., Macquarie Park NSW 2113
Lance joined IBM in Canberra back in the late 60’s then moved to Sydney. He had overseas assignments in the US and Japan in the 80’s and was working with Graham Kerrison on the Comm Bank team in the 90s and retired from IBM in the 2000s.

Lance was a great story teller and had a repertoire of great jokes.
He was a fair dinkum bloke.
