Many former IBMers will have known Colin Grainger, or "Col" to his many colleagues and friends, from his long career in IBMA Finance, the NDM and the Quarter Century Club.
After a long healthy and happy retirement, Col passed away just before Christmas 2024. He was only a few months shy of his 90th birthday. Col is survived by his wife Helen, son Peter, daughter Kathryn, 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
To quote from the song played at his funeral service, "I did it my way". That was Col.
