The following extract from my memoir -Take the Second Exit, published 2019- tells the story of the first decade of my career with IBM as a Systems Engineer.
Jim McGuirk's career with IBM began in January 1955. Bill Horn remembers him as a Time Clock CE in Geelong in the early 60's. Jim's recollections of this time suggest it was not a job for the faint-hearted. Many thanks to Colette McGuirk for sharing her father's story.
