Doug McIver passed away on 22nd October 2025, aged 91.
Doug joined IBM in the early 1960s and trained as a Systems Engineer. He was instrumental in installing 360s for Gas and Fuel and SEC, as well as working with teams in insurance, Victoria Police etc, often achieving the Hundred Percent Club. Doug also worked in education for several years and took early retirement to enjoy family life and his many other interests.
